Perez
As the title says, does anyone fitted a different brand on a Echo disc brake? Shimano or Magura? Thanks in advance. Edited August 27, 2014 by Perez
isitafox
You mean the hose? Any hose will work with the correct fittings though if you want to retain the originals then Magura should be fine.

isitafox
Not sure what it'd be like with the fittings, may be worth sending Tartybikes an email for a definite answer!
crilin202
Yes Perez, ive used them both shimano and magura as I tend to break the back one fairly often... you would need a special clamp to hold the hose on a vice and hen press the metal bit on. Any bike shop should have them and it only takes 1 minute to do it

Thanks for the feedback guys!
