Perez
Biu trials should have died a long time ago. But congratulations anyway, it is always very hard to compete at such a high level.

Ross McArthur
A bit sad to see nothing about this on here already, especially considering how well we did Why are you sad that no one's jumping to congratulate you? Posts don't just magically appear on Trials Forum. It takes guys like you to post them up.

It takes guys like you to post them up. Im not sad that " no ones jumping to congratulate me" You could tell me how crap I did in fact if you wanted, it doesn't matter to me. I was mainly referring to the lack of knowledge/support that our younger riders receive and our podium finishers, who all done really well. I know this, but it shouldn't be down to the riders themselves to post it up IMO. I would of thought that there would have been some previous interest in how team GB has done at the world bike trial championship, as there is in other countries. I am happy to post up results as I am proud of what we achieved, although it doesn't seem like theres much point haha Anyway..................Bravo all! dave33
It is slightly worrying that 90% of members on trials forum don't know who the current world champion is of their own chosen sport.

I just couldn't be any less interested in comp riding than I currently am :/ I just can't get into it, whether it be bicycle or moto trials. I personally see it as men in tights and shorts doing sidehops and doesn't seem to have the variation of street riding. Then again, I struggle to watch many pure trials videos without getting bored although I can definitely appreciate the talent involved! I am sure that is completely wrong and I'll get shouted at
Mark W
If anything, it just shows that people are more interested in UCI comps than BIU ones (hence there usually being posts about the World Cups/UCI World Champs) which shouldn't really come as much of a surprise bearing in mind the UK is generally more focussed on going down the UCI route, as evidenced by the UCI-rules setup for the top categories at comps. Had to laugh when I looked at the full results on the BIU site and they actually have the cheek to have a "Constructors" championship whilst refusing to acknowledge any brand other than Monty. If anything, that's just symptomatic of why people have much more of an interest in the UCI comps rather than BIU - the World Cups/UCI World Champs just seem to be held in much higher regard, probably because they don't appear to be completely stuck in the past like that. Same way that there are live streams of the World Cups - I didn't go looking for them but I assume that wasn't the case with the BIU rounds? EDIT: Not to do your/the team's results down by the way Scott!

When i went to Biu Worlds back in 2003, it seemed to be the Monty World Championship, and the bashing/pedal thing is f**kin horrible.
