Rebelistic
Hi, I've been thinking my mod would be much better for street if I had a higher gear ratio but I'm not sure how to go about it. I think I'm currently running an 18t freewheel up front with a 12t rear sprocket (both screw on). Problem: I can't find any screw on sprockets smaller than 12t and standard freewheels seem to be 18t. This gives me a pretty low ratio when taking the wheel size into account 1.5. Does anyone know how I could get a higher ratio? Thanks, John )
Jamie_Trials
I know that white industries do the ENO free-wheel in differnt sizes but it's weather they're still available ha, May be worth looking up. Edit: Found one but they're expensive haha. I believe you can get spares for them though if they break. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-Industries-ENO-Singlespeed-Freewheel-16t-22t-the-best-ever-freewheel-/200810617250?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&var=500157981306&hash=item2ec13ed9a2 Edited August 11, 2014 by Jamie_Trials
Rebelistic
^ Thanks, yeah that would be a solution, I could run a 20 or 22t freewheel up front and keep the 12t sprocket on the rear. Could work pretty well.
