Paperclip
So I have been running rubber grips for a fair while now I tend to use the clear trialtech ones but keep ripping them when I come off. I ideally want to keep riding rubber grips but wanted to know if you can buy anything else thats super soft but lasts a bit longer?
Scott Gibbs
Bike hut lock ons are really good. Nice and soft and last for quite a while a ran a set for over a year on my jump bike before they started getting thin.
James281098
I use either odi longneck which are good but take a while to bed in before they are comfortable like 5-6 rides but I keep going back to cult vans and they are just so soft it's unbelievable
callum199922
Inspired lock ons are quite good but don't last long

SCOTTY___
Apparently the vans grips wear extremely fast. +1 odi's
James281098
They don't wear fast but over say 4 months they get really soft... Weather that's a good or bad thing is up too you? As long as you don't stretch them they don't rip

Mark W
It's worth noting that if you're a fan of thin grips, the Cult/Vans grips are definitely not the ones for you.
Tom Booth
I've been massively impressed with the own brand lock ons that came on my Orange, they're not thin but they're fairly soft and very comfy. Lasted 6 months of daily riding upto yet and not worn too badly!
boozeman
I have troy lee design ODI lock on's fell off loads, also run them on my MTB for the last 2 years (used at least twice a week), never ripped and excellent grip too
JD™
I like the ones I got off charge yonks ago - long and thin, just how I like it. I moved to foams, so you're welcome to have a set if I can find them and you don't mind the fact they're orange. The fact they're orange isn't the only reason I liked them... Mark W
They're the same as the Vein Genetics Rubber Grips and WTB Freedom Grips for anyone interested in the ones JD is talking about...
JD™
Also useful for me to know, because I loved them but orange grips was too much for that Marino build. Cheers Mark
