Laurence--Trials
I'm currently still running the mk1 echo platform pedals after 4 years of service and still going strong I'm thinking of changing the axles in them but upgrading to titanium ones. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is their strength. How do they compare to the steel ones?

Laurence--Trials
I knew that, but how much weaker roughly? I mean My steel ones have lasted 4 years and are still going strong if they're only a tiny bit weaker then I won't be worried. But if they're going to last less than a year I won't be getting them. Not asking for a time period of lasting just the metal strength differences to give an idea.
Clerictgm mk2
You may get defective ones so they'll lasts you a week. Why do you want ti axles? Why just not to buy lighter pedals?

Haha Have you started selling pedals or something? Anyway the question asked is a hard one to answer. Everyone has different experiences with different parts so no one can really give a conclusive answer.
dave33
From personal experience the echo ti axles are very weak. The others to fit the try all/rockman cage pedals are plenty strong enough for the purpose. In around 72kgs.
dezmtber
Sorry for jumping on your topic, has anyone tryed the burgtec pedals with ti axles?
kaarel
Hey, also from personal experience, TI axelse (edit: Echo TI caged pedals) lasted for 2 weeks. I'd also recomend you Try-all single cage pedals as they are significantly stronger and have lasted up to 1 and a half year the most (im 92-94kg).
