Boumsong
Is there a way of identifying the year for these forks? And where I can find replacement lowers? Cheers for le assistance.
ZeroMatt
Looks like a 2011 to me. Still got a serial on them? 2006 and newer models have a serial number that follows this pattern - XXYZAAAAAAA where XX is the week in which it was made, Y is the initial for the factory (usually T for Taiwan) and Z is the year in which it was made. Typically, anything later than the 20th week of that year will be product for the following model year. dezmtber
Some have a year of manufacture stamp deep in the back of the cutouts in the lower brace or under the crown. normaly just a simple 07 or 11 stamped. Get a long brush and clean out the fork brace. or measure the diameter of the sliders last time i looked rockshox were carrying stock of 35mm and 32mm boxxer lowers
Boumsong
I found the number but the middle section has been battered away so isn't legible. They're 35mm stanchions though so I'll go for 2011.
