Max F
Does anybody of you know how much the top speed on a 24" bike with 22:16 and 175mm cranks approximately is in kph or mph? Of course without a slope and just pedalling the fastest you can.
harmertrials
I believe that's a ratio of around 2.5. Which at 100rpm would equate to around 20mph, although I may be wrong here.
Max F
That sounds good but as I have no idea what rpm my feet can reach, I hope somebody already measured the speed with an Inspired or something similar.
harmertrials
You could reach around 100 really going for it
dezmtber
www.sheldonbrown.com/gears I would say 120rpm 11.5mph I recently tested this idea I used my cadence sensor on my trials bike I managed to max out 173rpm for 10 seconds but trust me that kind of rpm really hurts. 140-150 on a trials bike is pedalling really fast like you would to clear a large dirt jump. 120rpm is just pedalling quickly
