Dink
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/body-armour/knee-shin-pads Hi That's where all my stuffs from, like the riot shin pads, what about shorts for a 12 yr old and a good protection lid, that looks good Thanx a lot D
isitafox
Any shorts that are comfy will do the job, as for the helmet it's all down to personal preference. Best bet is to go to a bike shop and actually try a few different models on to see what feels best.

Thanx, what lid do u wear,,I'm out in the sticks, no luxury of a bike shop to browse, though we r relocating, just use chain reaction for everything, My dad's just told me ive a fox rockstar transition helmet coming tomorrow,,http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/fox-racing-rockstar-transition-hard-shell-helmet/rp-prod75896. Maybe that be a bit smaller looking, Thanx for info D
JJ Leigh
ive got the POC "Danny Mac" knee gaurds and some fuse shin pads that also protect your ankle joints from being hit from the side, the knee pads were about £80 but they protect you so well and have a lot of movement so they dont restrict you, and the shin pads were about £35 ish. hope you get what your looking for man

TOMTRIALS123
The nukeproof Knee and Shin pads look like they would be a bit too hot to me but they have a good write up (just look @ the reviews) and if u have the money and u have weighed up all the options of others, and u think these are for u, go for it! and tell us how you get on with them in case anyone else is interested in them in the future
