weirdoku
Spinny ballerina stuff never appealed much to me. Good riding though I guess. I hate it when they use slow mo effect (Twixtor?) and not do it right, looks like the bike is teleporting.

Bint
Have a read. If you don't realise how childish you sound then there's not a lot else I can say. Anyway, sorry for bumping a tat video. How is me saying "Youre moaning about the production? its not being shown on tv/dvd you know, its just a trials video on youtube, you obviously havent seen any of the really old videos which are filmed on mini dv camcorders by one of the riders mates/tripod.. Who cares." childish? . I was respoding to his comment which I didnt agree with and felt was completely out of order, the filming really wasnt that bad. singang
Interesting video. Some crazy tricks! In my opinion it is not the right way to combine street trials into a competition live event. Street trials is made for videos and riding outside combined with your creativity. However we need the support of live audience to make the sport bigger, so from that point of view this event is cool! Danny Mac's Drop and Roll Show is another way of showing the sport to people. All in all it's cool to see more and more people trying to develope this sport in any direction....
ben duda
I dunno.. You guys over analys sh1t way to much. It was alright that. It Didn't hurt my eyes n gave me something to watch whilst eating my dinner. Them French dudes seem to get stick every time there's something of them posted. I like to go out on my trials bike (an inspired rather than a tgs style bike) now n again when I've got a couple of hours to kill I don't think to much of it, it's not my main interest or hobby as it seems to be to the majority of the people on here. I like to go out do the odd trick or two here n there a couple of trials moves also a few skids n wheelies n shit then just park it back up in the garage. What I'm trying to say is not every video has to be mind bendingly awesome. Yep some of those moves seem to be repeative but o well no stress is there? Don't be to serious guys your taking the fun out of dicking around on you bike. Xx
ben duda
+ ill be honest if it wernt for the Danny mac inspired bikes video I wouldn't be here now. As A kid I used to spend the majority of my time out on my bike. But trials never appealed to me I always thought it was boring. Hopping around on a bike which esentially may of been a pogo stick. But when the April 2009 video came out I was gob smacked. Awesome blend of trials and bmx which I'd never seen before. Which got myself back in to riding not only mountain biking but this sort of street style riding as well, So maybe it's this mix of styles that has gotten people like myself in to trials. So.. Maybe it's not such a bad thing after all ay!? + how many people rode street trials in that style before Danny mac was in the limelight. I'd gues not many. X Did you make sweeping generalisations and assumptions with her too? No attitude here, merely just letting you know that your guess was incorrect. I tend to do that quite a lot, so feel free to hide my posts if it's going to get your knickers in a twist

ben duda
Ha ha brilliant! Another one of my assumptions is you were 1 of, if not the pioneer of street trial riding many moons back but a little bitter as Danny stole the show. And your just left trolling the interwebs nit picking arguements on the subject? Haha. X
ben duda
All hail DM for saving us from our pogo sticking destiny of doom! Haha yh I didnt mean to mass offend anybody who drives a pogo stick bike. Just that a bit of creative, flow, even style/bmx riding make trials riding far more appealing to many, myself included. + I watched flipps video after watching this 1. That lad has some super smooth creative lines. That's how a pogo bike should be ridden

thinkdougie
What I would like to see is say someone like Mark Westlake going over to France to direct some of these guys or just film and edit a video for them. From watching his tarty trip to france I think that video would be worse than this one.
dann2707
Ha ha. Banter lads I like it. X + haven't you guys got like jobs or some shit you should be getting on with? Isn't it a bit hyprocritcal how you're here posting too though? Don't you have shit to be getting on with rather than getting sensitive as f**k when someone disagrees with you? Also the kiss at the end is cute as f**k Xxxxxxx
Mark W
From watching his tarty trip to france I think that video would be worse than this one. Those videos weren't the best I've ever made, but editing such a broad mix of riders doing such a mix of stuff isn't ever going to be as flowing as filming a smaller group of similar-minded riders. There are a shitload of other reasons that comparison makes no sense, but yeah, I'll leave it at that... For what it's worth, I don't really agree with the idea of "directing" riders, and I don't think I'd do a better job of making videos than any of the people who are doing it at the moment for them.

Mark W
Haha. That's a fair comment though. I knew before I put the UK to FR videos out that there'd be a split between people who would and wouldn't like them. I was aware that as most people on TF don't really like watching natural that they wouldn't be particularly into 30mins of it in the rain, at only a few locations. On the other hand, people on OTN seem to like it more, so I thought they'd have more interest in it. It ended up being that that's how things worked out judging from comments people left. If you've found "street trial" videos I've done to be boring then fair enough, but referring back to a video of a totally different subject filmed in a totally different environment doesn't really seem to be that relevant. persistant_itch
I don't think people appreciate the graft involved in making things like that, and even harder making a combination of clips entertaining. Even the best riders in the world wouldn't look half as good in videos without good editing and shooting.
