callum199922
Every so often my freewheel makes a snap or a crack sound, I think it is slipping but I'm not sure I have only had it since Christmas and I need to know how to make it stop if that is possible. dann2707
You need to take it apart and have a wee neb inside and see what the problem is. My bets are it's full of shit and it's preventing the pawls from returning back to their seats in the freewheel. Usually a good thorough flush out with something like GT-85 or WD-40 gets rid of all the dirt and grime. Not sure how hard a trialtech freewheel will be to remove and dismantle for a beginner if you are to this sort of stuff.
*gentlydoesit
My echo does it occasionaly, I think its normalish. It got worse when the chain was too tight or when the line was out. Can't hurt to clean it out like dan said.
