kevind
Heading of in August with Aaron to BIUs and was wondering if anybody has been to any trials parks on the way down through France. Cerny, the last French round looks like a great venue but cant find an address.
Mark W
The trials park is on the side of a sports centre kinda place - you can see it here. The place is locked shut though so you'd need to check if you'd be able to ride it first with the trials club/guy who runs it. Could always ask for the address that way. If you're driving down towards that direction, Beauvais is between Calais/Cerny and is definitely worth stopping at. A ridiculous amount of stuff to ride there. Part 2 of the "UK to FR" trip video features Beauvais and Cerny so if you keep an eye out a week on Friday you'll get an idea about some of the stuff there. EDIT: Totally unrelated, but do your family happen to know the people who run 'Janan Luxury Fashion Bradford' or something? Seems like a random sponsor for someone based up in Scotland.
ben_travis
That always makes me laugh when I see Kev's signature. If you are down in the direction of Pau there is a trials park next to the university - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@43.3178192,-0.3611555,17z (click the satellite link and then scroll up a little - you will see the BMX track and surrounding it is loads of trials stuffs. kevind
Thanks guys will have a look. I do high end electrical systems in houses. One of the directors lives in Edinburgh and I had done his house. He helped Aaron with a cheque and hotels in Bradford last year. Nothing this year so must remove from footer. As long as I can make you smile Ben. Ross said you had been up to Aviemore and its been moved around and gravel put down. I spoke with them just before you went as someone else had mentioned it. They had to move the top bits to allow machine access for a new cross country track they were building and they can put it back. I will get up after Fort Bill with Aaron and get things sorted. (bigger and better) As for the gravel then I will just have to see whats what when I get there.
