Tom Booth
Is that a crack on the bb shell too?
Filo
I'd give them a good clean first. The bb picture looks cracked, the head tube picture ust looks like a piece if hair.
brakelеss_ftw
This was a brand new frame. Yeah it has got 5 scratches on the downtube, its been hammered, no wonder its cracked. Then why there are no impacts? Or it's been hammered with toy hammer? And why would I destroy new lovely frame which cost 550 EUR + 8 hours spend on paint removing? How did you remove paint? Body 700 paint remover + sandpaper + my own hands. Edited May 26, 2014 by brakelеss_ftw

If those are cracks all the way through wat's oozing out? Clean it with some thinners and post another pic. (Its hard to smudge a crack ) Edited May 26, 2014 by *gentlydoesit

I was joking, most people on this forum seem to think if you hit the frame more than once then its no surprise that its cracked, I expect a frame to take a complete beating before snapping.
MartMini
They're stress fractures, from repetitive forces. You don't have to impact a frame to crack it.

dann2707
Well you know the saying, "If you awaken from this illusion, and you understand that black implies white, self implies other, life implies death - or shall I say, death implies life - you can conceive yourself."
James281098
The 'crack' on the top tube near the fork is not a crack... , Metal wouldn't crack like that, it is most likely a deep scratch, give it a good clean and see what it comes up like

Not really, my Ashton too an absolute hammering and that's still in service. What I meant by that comment was if that is 4months old and cracked, it HAS had a bloody hard time. Be it repetitive hooks, drop gaps to front ect.
