ogre
got some maintenance and new parts coming, so i'll have my frame and fork in bits, so i'm wanting to tidy up my frame and repolish it, i used wirewool before, and the finish was great but it was so time consuming i'm hoping there is a suitable disc to use on a grinder to get a nice finish quickly. i have used a sandpaper type disc to clean up my old bash mounts, but that was to abbrasive to give a nice finish. what are my options? Edit: specific names of the types of disc fittings i want to use would be brilliant Edited May 13, 2014 by ogre
*gentlydoesit
Some car polishing heads fit a grinder. Is it just a polish you want? No paint removal. I'd get some compound on a cloth, wrap it round the tube and work it like a shoe shiner.

bing
Yeah. Go to screwfix. They have 4 1/2" grinder polishing kits for not much money
