N.Wood
nice . weight ? i saw that place in many video clips . especially chris akrigg Not sure on weight, never weighed it. I'd guess sorta mid - lightweight? I have a few heavy / functional parts on there like the front disk and rear tyre and steel bb etc. The place in the pics is in Devon, the place you're thinking of is up north in Yorkshire
N.Wood
Update: My grip has broken, and front wheel has now been replaced with a Rockman hub / Trialtech rim / DT spokes that I had lying around as my H hub has cracked. Subscribe for more mind blowing updates.

Ross McArthur
Both of my SLs have lasted almost exactly a year each (and thats second hand). Going onto my third now. Love them!

edwards 99
Black rims would look awesome
Ross McArthur
I always find black rims a bit of a waste on a bike with maguras. The pads will end up rubbing off the paint on the side walls or if you grind them they'll look silver anyway. Good choice on the silver rims I'd say. N.Wood
Now just take off the brakes What a random thing to say. I've never really liked black rims for some reason, as Ross said they look a bit odd with a silver sidewall. I did run a temporary black Mavic disk rim on the front a little while ago and that looked ok but don't really like them out backs.

N.Wood
Oh I see. Yeah I don't really get the whole brakeless thing, and I ride natural 99% of the time and most of that natural would just be a huge pain in the ass without brakes. I know some people can ride natural without brakes, but yeah, not for me. This bike is 100% function over form, but I've been riding long enough to know what doesn't look completely shit.

N.Wood
Hope 200 rotor with Jitsie pads working? Veeeeery well, yep. My brake is pretty badass, helps out loads with gaps / ups to fronts. Only thing its worse for is rolldowns, modulation isn't quite as good as it was. Can we have a video of you riding? Um, you can when someone can be arsed to film anything As lame as it sounds everyones too busy riding to make vids. I think I'm possibly the least documented rider that ever did live. Only vids of me are from 2004 - 2006ish I think.
AdamR28
modulation isn't quite as good as it was. You'll get used to that

N.Wood
You'll get used to that Yeah not really a complaint as such, just noticed on slippery off camber steep roll downs the front has a tendancy to lock up so just gotta go a little easier / use more rear brake.
