*gentlydoesit
I used to be able to watch videos on my mobile in the letterbox style youtube if i used the web version, now it looks like the app version no matter what i try... which is shite!! Its not the look that I dislike but the controls and the quality have gone. Is there a way to go back? Cheers
HippY
Sadly no, there is no way to change themes as far as i know All I want from mobile app is to lock the screen but being able to listen to a video. that would be *the* dream for me
*gentlydoesit
It had been loading the 'new' look for a while, but if I deleted my cache and go again it would load the version I liked. It won't now Its really pissing me off! The best quality is 240p?? Wtf is that about! And there's no 'chronological order' to the videos, there's a 'this week', but its random. Some videos aren't there on that version either! Edited April 26, 2014 by *gentlydoesit
dann2707
Probably forcing you to use the app so they can somehow make more money
HippY
Probably forcing you to use the app so they can somehow make more money you cannot use AdBlockPlus in an app, whereas it is dead easy o use on browsers
dann2707
I'm not sure if you know you're agreeing with me or what?
HippY
Adblock plus = You do not see ads ads= money for Google Ads-adblockplus= Less money for google Solution:^
dann2707
I still think you're missing my point I'm insinuating that they're forcing people to use the app so that they can show more ads to people.
N.Wood
Think thats what he's saying too. By forcing you to use an app, you can't run adblock and so you see more ads. The more people who use apps the better. You're both in agreement
HippY
ohh yeah, adblock plus is a program that everyone should have, it is blasically blocking all the ads, so no horny girls in your area and random ads in front of youtube videos I should learn how to speak less geekish regarding geekish stuff. At least Mr. Wood understands me
