*gentlydoesit
Give them a ring can't go wrong at 7 quid I've found them as good as any pad out there !I got put off when the backings got a mention, I've since bought some tnn's.. at thrice the cost! Think the pads would be as good in a cnc backing? Could be a good source of refills. While were here.. up for riding malvern bud?

isitafox
Lol that's one of my local bike shops. Can't begin to try and remember some of the names he's traded under!
bing
Is it the old mark Anthony place Dave?
isitafox
Yup, which is still called Mark Anthonys. The only bike shop I've ever come across to refuse to lend you a pump in an emergency!
bing
Yeah I've heard some horror stories about that shop. Won't sell you stuff over the counter if its on ebay, that kind of shite
JDâ„¢
I had the pleasure of dealing with him in my magazine days too. Fond memories, of course...
wilf
We see one of the 'mechanics' who works there when out riding sometimes, thinks he's some sort of engineering god. Oh and apparently everything that Hope makes is utter shite...
N.Wood
I used to use these pads, as said worked well but lasted a month max.
Ben Cox
Used to ride the rimjams, were very good pads! Never managed to top the koxx bloxx browns, favourite pads of all time! Ben

*gentlydoesit
Why did they die out?
N.Wood
TNNs came along. I swapped my LGMs for a set of koxx red pads (pretty similar to browns) and they worked about as well as the LGMs, although not as good in the wet. At the end of the day all the top pads are pretty similar, just have quirks that make them suited to certain people / set ups / riding styles. Having said that, I loved the koxx browns (ran one brown and one tarty adam black pad for aggges, awesome) and the reds too, but bought a set of yellows and they were the worst pads I've ever used (including Monty Orange pads). No matter what I did with them, they were shit.
