niconj
Has anyone heard about those forks or ridden them for that matter? I'm about to buy new forks and am stuck between the new Echo SL and the Kabra Disc ones. Any help would be appreciated.
isitafox
Definitely wouldn't bother with the SL's though I also wouldn't want to try the Kabra forks without some good reviews. Stick with something tried and tested like the Trialtechs
insomnia
TT SL?
niconj
Stick with something tried and tested like the Trialtechs TT SL? I was considering the TT SLs as they were tested for a long time but since the last product recall (for the HS33 version) I'm a bit sceptical. isitafox
I wouldn't be, have you seen the level of rider they're snapping on? I think you'll be perfectly safe with the disc version!
craigjames
Plus they're snapping on the 4 bolt mounts.... not on the disc version.

You cant be sceptical of a fork that has been ridden from Burton Tunnicliff and so on....
niconj
Just saying. I'm not a very smooth rider plus on the heavy side.
harmertrials
Brad Johnson's snapped in a week, that's not brilliant. Although I'd still go for them myself.
craigjames
If you're concerned about the TT sl forks, even though it's the 4 bolt versions that seem to be snapping (It's all the bigger riders tend to use), then email or call Tarty and ask about the disk version? Comparing disc with 4 bolt forks isn't really fair.

dann2707
Brad Johnson didn't have them new, he got them off jack carthy I just have this image of Jack Carthy walking into a massive shed/garage of spare parts, turning the light on, sighing and turning back around and closing the door. (cos no one dares buy anything from him cos he rides so huge )

N.Wood
Just saying. I'm not a very smooth rider plus on the heavy side. Why are you looking at Echo SL's then! Get some Trialtechs, get the sports if you don't want the sport lite's.

If only they made them in two factories then they'd be unbreakable

CriminalRider
Trialtech, made in Taiwan, obviously stronger than echo. I broke enough chinese shit forks to say that. Few of them I posted here.

niconj
I'll probably save some money and get some Trialtech SLs (on Tarty they say that they are stronger than the other Trialtechs). What I really like is that the steerer tube isn't anodized so there won't be any clicking noise like with my Echo Urbans.
