TOMTRIALS123
Well I thought it was great! 'dngr2self' don't be such a downer. Are you better?
valk
I guess he's talking about the video itself; not the riding.

dngr2self
It's not so my own ability to ride but what I see when I ride. The riders I'm used to seeing are unknown but of a high standard. The riding in this video was average in my opinion. Thats not the same as saying it was shit. Theres nothing wrong with being average but its not that good to watch. Look at it fromvan outsiders point of view, I'm watching a guy do ok stuff and the camera's so close in most of the shots that most of its out of shot. Yhat doesn't make a particularly good watch. Sam Nichols
Of course it's OK to be average, it's also OK to be below average. It's not very nice to be dismissive without giving something at least a little bit constructive criticism/advice on how to improve though. Anyway, none of this is relevant to the topic (sorry, that's my fault!) but I genuinely was curious if you have any videos because I don't think I've ever seen a video of you. It's cool if not, it's just nice to put a rider to a forum name sometimes.

If I did it'd probably receive even more negative comments than I've given over the years. If you want to know what I look like just check my profile pic. My initial comment was harsh to be fair but I'll stand by my subsequent comments. I'd consider myself about average so therefore, anyone I see thats about the same must be average. The only problem is that when filming someone average it needs to be done well or it looks shit. (In my opinion of course).
Sam Nichols
It's just odd to be so dismissive of someones video when you haven't got the balls/motivation/ability to put something out there yourself. Oh well.

Oh well. Time is precious. Perhaps I'm more sensitive about wasting other peoples. If balls are an issue then drop by and we can compare. You'll probably struggle though to be fair.

If you read my comments and apply some intelligence you might actually see what I'm trying to say. You'll probably struggle though to be fair. If I would add some intelligence to your comment it would be: "Yes, good progression keep up the good work!" Yes, we can compare him to better riders and yes, comparing to Hege, for example he is okayish. But knowing how much work does it take to be as good level as him, and he rides smoothly, he is very good.

Why do people people feel the need to tell me what I should or shouldn't write? If people think they have the freedom to tell me what to think and say then why cant they understand that I can and will feel free to say whatever I like. Mark W
It's more that people are suggesting how you say it rather than what you say. Just putting something along the lines of this in the first post would've made all the difference: I'm watching a guy do ok stuff and the camera's so close in most of the shots that most of its out of shot. Yhat doesn't make a particularly good watch. What you're saying there is fair enough, but I think people weren't really getting what you meant with what you wrote originally because it was so blunt there wasn't any other way to take it.
