callum199922
Ive been riding for a bit now but my rear rim brake is not that strong, i don't want to buy anymore brakes or get a rim grind. I have been told that tar is a good way to make them stronger but i don't have much places to get it from. So what is the best thing to do? JJ Leigh
if you need tar just ask people on the forum to send you some, or if there are any roadworks or roofing jobs going on, just ask the builders or something. only thing is, in todays society most people are grumpy and chances are they'll say no, like they did to me, but thats when i stole some later Edited April 8, 2014 by JJ Leigh

Ross McArthur
If its dry and warm put some coke or other fizzy juice on your rim and leave to dry. Used to do this back in the day and worked well.
