Hotchy
It was bound to happen eventually. Was out on a ride tonight, found a little kicker type ramp thing in the street, decided I'd have a laugh and just see how high I could get off it, and try some spins (First time trying spins on my Trials bike) landed badly, and now my wheels buckled pretty bad. It's still rideable, you can feel a little wobble, but its more the noise that has got me a little concerned. When I was riding home, I could hear this kind of crunching/metaly bending sound. I've not checked the spokes yet, because I was knackered when I got home, and the promise of Yorkshire pudding was too overwhelming for me to stick around in the garage longer than I needed to. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this type of thing before? Obviously I've experienced buckled wheels riding BMX, but I've never heard this type of noise before. Also, could do with just a few pointers on how to properly true a wheel, usually I just blunder my through it and hope for the best, I don't think the rear wheel on my BMX has ever been properly true, I just coped with it, and as I ride brakeless, it doesn't rub against anything, so it's never been that much of a problem other than when there's bad wobble. Cheers guys!

ogre
sent you a message, is it front or rear wheel? when you say feel a little wobble, can you rock the wheel left/right? or does it just bob about as you roll?
