SamKidney
At the sheffield thing last week, I noticed Charlie Rolls had a one off hope 116mm screw on rear hub, with trial zone inscribed onto it. Hope should make these, they'd be miles better than owt else out there, and British made as well Not a one off, I've seen another red pro2 esque 116mm screw on rear hub around 4 years ago.

Robin M S/c
Yeah they made a few. It was Woody's lad who had one on his Monty 207 and they did one for Fuji's nephew.

dann2707
Oh dear. Let's organize a trials forum trip to the hope factory then. This is weird how it actually happened

craigjames
DOT or mineral oil? When have hope used anything but DOT fluid? Edited December 5, 2014 by craigjames
niconj
When have hope used anything but DOT fluid? There were a couple of disc brakes that used mineral oil if I'm not mistaken.
craigjames
There were a couple of disc brakes that used mineral oil if I'm not mistaken. Think you might be, feel free to prove me wrong. But I'm sure that every hope disc brake that has been on the market has used DOT fluid. craigjames
pretty sure also, even an old giant mph brake i have that hope built around 1994-96 is dot Don't think they were made by hope, they were just a far east copy of the hope C2/Sport lever. They definitely used DOT fluid as did all of hope disc brakes. Think the only main brands that use mineral oil are Shimano and Magura. niconj
I read it somewhere around this forum that there were at least seals made from hope that were for mineral oil. Might be mistaken again.
