Richg41
Hi Just wondered if I could ask a bit of advice ....... I used to do motorcycle trials and I've always been into freestyle BMX albeit many years ago. I'm looking to get into trials (street) with my son and was wondering the best way into it. I've been looking at second hand Inspired (Element / Fourplay etc) and a Zoot Mini for my son. Wondered if you had any advice on what to look for / avoid etc, any help would be much appreciated. Ash-Kennard
sounds like a sensible way to go. make sure you guys gt the basics dialed before trying anything too dangerous! get helmets too, will add confidence if nothing else
Thebigjam101
Inspired fourplays are very good bikes, personally I'd choose tht over an element if you can afford one. Make sure he wears a helmet! If you're learning especially, but you should always wear one. Are you also considering a mod? Depends on what your son wants but I think learning on a mod is easier, however everyone's different. Go to trashzen.com for some good learning tips and tutorial vids! Taffy17
As A Newbie to Trials myself .... Thebigjam101 above is spot on. Trashzen has been a massive help. I ordered their book from Tarty Bikes last week. Its brilliant. Starts from the begining and takes you through everything. Bike Set up, choice of bike, Gear, and then the majority on how to perform the moves. Well worth the £20. I'm still crap though! haha. Give me time and practice
Lord Banks
I have that book, you're right, it is worth the 20 quid. Its helped me loads to understand different moves/techniques. Can't quite pull them yet, but at least I know what I'm suppossed to be doing :$
Thebigjam101
I learned pedal kicks from that book way back when. Very handy.
