Ross McArthur Posted March 23, 2014 Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 You can't go wrong with an echo 24". The tensioning system in the frames are superior to any snail cam set up. Scott Gibbs Posted March 23, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 Yeah the BB rise sounds huge on the 24s. Would I need to run a lot of stackers to get a good bar height? I like a high front end or will the stem do that? I do like the Echo as it has a rear disc mount and I like the idea of the press fit Spanish BB. jack dickinson Posted March 23, 2014 Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 What about the radix? I love mine and from what I have hear they ride 10 times better than the echos. Also I prefers the snail cam because on my my echo (26 version) the wheel would move out of line whenever I tightened the wheel back up again after tensioning the chain. FamilyBiker Posted March 23, 2014 Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 i´d highly recommend using the 2005-2009 magura hs33,or if moneys not an issue the racingline brakes. some guys are going seriously big with v-brakes though. preference that.
