ULtrialsguy
So not exactly a trials video but hey it's Chris Akrigg and this one is pretty awesome.

Mark W
I've liked every video Akrigg's put out there, but this one just didn't really do much for me. The intro was cool, but the riding - although obviously hard - just didn't really grab me.
janjan
Is there any type of bicycle he did not ride yet? Fixie, downhiller, racebikes, bmx, crosser, ... The only one I can think of would be a tandem bike... perhaps we can get Danny and Chris on one bike?

Matthew62
Strange not to see him on SRAM and Hope after so long, but as has been said this didn't overly excite me but on a technical level I can appreciate how difficult some of the stuff he is doing. He can certainly shred.

As said intro was pretty cool but the riding didn't seem as special as his other videos.

monkeyseemonkeydo
To be fair to him cyclocross is probably the stupidest most pointless element of biking out there (and yes I am including trials in that list) so he was up against it trying to make it not look stupid and pointless. ogre
disagree with you there, i recon its probably a good laugh. i bet the bikes are ace lazy do it all machines
Yorkshire Dale
Cyclocross is just daft and a bit pointless. thats what mountain bikes are for! I love Chris but i feel the same as most of you who have commented it didn't do much for me!
bikeperson45
The whole doing a type of riding on the wrong type of bike thing's gotten boring now, I'd much prefer to see him on a trials bike again.
J.KYDD
cyclocross is probably the stupidest most pointless element of biking out there You ever seen cycle speedway?!
Mark W
I can kind of get cycle speedway though in that it's a specific thing, with specific bikes made for that thing. It just seems like cyclocross is a mixture of a couple of things on a bike that's not really suitable for a lot of it. When part of a riding discipline involves having to get off your bike to do it, something's not really right. I can imagine cyclocross might be fun in a loosey-goosey way, sort of how ragging a really shit car around is fun because it's all over the place, but at the same time if I'm going to ride off road I'd rather have a bike designed specifically with that in mind so you can try more and do more. monkeyseemonkeydo
You ever seen cycle speedway?! I dunno, cycle speedway is super gay and unbelievably cringeworthy to watch but as Mark says it is a 'thing' in its own right whereas CX (is that an approved abbreviation or did I just make it up?) is just deliberately using totally the wrong bike for what you need. Ross McArthur
is just deliberately using totally the wrong bike for what you need. Not really. Doing miles along grass flats would suit that sort of bike.
monkeyseemonkeydo
Not really. Doing miles along grass flats would suit that sort of bike. But that doesn't seem to be what cyclocross events are- they just seem to be XC races on the wrong bike.

HippY
I am going to call it Cyclo-parkour racing I know it sounds like a joke, but whereas there are biking sports, where people go down massive hills and jumps at insane speed, or where people climb up everything they can, where people just jump high jumps just for fun, it is strange to see people literally taking their bike on their back and run over a little bump
