juantime
thanks not so sure they'd sell a stolen bike in the newspaper but never underestimate the stupidity of a criminal I'll still check it out

juantime
thanks mate I live with my parents and they don't allow me to keep it in the house, worried about me scuffing the walls and floors... it was secure outside though, it was chained and anchored but they cut right through It

juantime
thanks for the help people I really appreciate it, I've been told I might be able to claim it on insurance, but that won't get my bike back and I doubt it'll get me close to getting a new one after paying the excess and a mate for his frame bars and stem that I was borrowing when it got stolen
JJ Leigh
I see sooo many dodgy ads in my local bargain pages, you could get lucky, fingers crossed bud call them up if they do and be like "why hello there good sir, i am interested in buying the trials bike, would £4000 be alright?" go round there with some chavs and send them in XD nah im kiddin, seriously hope you get the bike back! ill keep an eye out too, crims aren't always local to where they steal stuff... bing
Think it's about time a stolen bike thread gets made, and get a mod to make it a sticky. Then we all know to keep an eye out on the bay and bumtree etc
juantime
this is footage of the guy riding off with it tryna get a clearer image from other cameras but so far this it what I haveI agree though it took me a while to find out there was no place to post things like this they should really have a pinned thread for stolen bikes, it's not like it's an uncommon thing bikes get taken all the time
JJ Leigh
that footage is a good start! thing is, 90% of crimes are committed on people who the criminal may know or have had some sort of contact with before and there is usually a reason... does anyone have a grudge against you or has anything happened what might have caused the steal to happen? and some random person isn't going to know you have a trials bike in your garden so it must be someone local or someone who knows you have one. also trials bikes aren't the most common things in the world so that could narrow down more people. not too sure, just some possibilities... HippY
. also trials bikes aren't the most common things in the world so that could narrow down more people. not too sure, just some possibilities... Personally I know only a handful of Neon bikes, they are not as common, probably it will pop up somewhere soon, as trials community not as big

*gentlydoesit
If its advertised, odds on it'll be somthing like "stunt bike" or "jump bike" because theyll want to make it as inconspicuous as possible, that and fewer people recognize what trials bikes are
Dazza1414
Don't forget "trick bike". Hope you get it back dude! Had one stolen years ago and put me out of riding for over a year and a half. Spent alot of money on building a top ofthe range echo with King and hope parts and couldn't afford to buy anything else. Good luck
