stirlingpowers
inspired team rims They are pretty light, didn't expect that... but a centimeter too small for me (forgot to mention that I need rear only for improved brake positioning)
dezmtber
Tarty bikes link in the top right of the screen. they do three or four light 24" rear rims. bonz, viz, echo ect...
craigjames
Get an Echo and single wall it if its not light enough. Strong rims, seems to give a really good grind that lasts and reasonably light.

At least the Bonz do not have a vertical sidewall - I know because I had them on my bike. Pads could not be set up parallel to the rim without using a half link in the chain. That's why I am searching for a rim with vertical sidewalls. I think I'll phone Tarty.
stirlingpowers
Ok, they answered my mail already! For the record, currently the options are: Because, Onza, Echo. I'll go with the Because. Edited March 7, 2014 by stirlingpowers

isitafox
To be fair the Because rims are superb with a grind!
Greetings
Bonz rims have angled sidewalls. Superlight 24" rim with parallel sidewalls = Neon single wall. That said, they're not terribly strong.

wilf
I'd go for an Echo and like somebody said above if its not light enough, single wall it. They hold a grind so so so well.
