Jake.
How does this happen, and how likely is it to happen again? I do a fair few up to fronts/gaps to front so I'm a bit concerned. Happened during an up to front.
Blake
It's new echo stuff what do you expect I can't say i've seen it before but it must have happened, a lot of people who ride really big aren't using echo v forks anymore.
SamKidney
The last set of urbans I had on my 24" cracked around the vee mount. Went to Neon 24" mag forks and ruined those too haha. Bent one pair, cracked the second. Bought some bonz forks and sold the bike the day I fitted them haha

N.Wood
Try some reverse mount forks? Dunno if they do V ones bit I'd guess reverse 4 bolts with an adaptor would be stronger.

Sam T
Yeah i had a V brake on adapters that were on the back on my forks, i just couldn't get them to work and couldn't figure out why!
Greetings
Maybe you should have said people aren't using Urban v forks. Urbans are the only V forks Echo make so it's kind of self explanatory.
craigjames
Didn't have any problems at all when I ran a front vee set up on TrialTech forks with HS adaptors. Felt solid and worked really well, can't understand why a vee wouldn't work on a reverse mount fork?! Sure a front mounted brake would be forced away from the wheel as it's applied?
