HippY
Hey guys I need your help I have a bolt in my hub, that is stuck. The funny parts: the disc can move freely under it, so the bolt is actually stuck in the thread Tried to make a flat head row with a saw, did not work, did not have the proper screwdriver tried everything that I had Tried to untie it with a small flathead screwdriver+hammer any help? I ran out of ideas.
bing
Drill the head of it with a 10mm drill, then gently warm the disk flange up with a blowtorch whilst trying to get the bolt stub out with pliers
trialsbikingnunn
is there any part of the bolt sticking out from the hub? if so then use some mole grips to get it out
Mark W
If the wheel's not actually in your bike, you can try something along these lines depending on how haggard the bolt head is now:
HippY
sorry, from the disc hole actually, not from the hub axle, I should wrote that
williams
I'm a bit lost now... Is it a bolt that is holding the disc rotor to the hub, or the axle bolt?
HippY
the bolt that holds the rotor to the hub

williams
Heat up the hub flange with a heatgun or a blow torch and then take a screw driver and just undo the bolt
trialsbikingnunn
file down the sides of the bolt head so that you have 2 parallel straight lines, get some mole grips on the flat parts and unscrew. I've done this on around 5 disc bolt before and it worked well each time
dann2707
Mole grips without a doubt. Had it loads of times before. Comes out easy then mate!!
willackerley1
Cut a notch in the side on a angle then put a screwdriver in it then hit it round with a hammer. That's how I got mine out.
