marshole82
Heyyyyooooooo Ahem. I bought this... ...on the basis it was cheap, vee ready and a 26. Now, I'm not sure I'm gonna be any good at this trials malarky so is it worth me giving it a quick rattle can spray job or not? The paint is very tired and scaffd up. *gentlydoesit
Bead blast I know it wasn't in your options, but I just thought I'd put it out there
marshole82
on a budget! would be a can or 2 of paint for £6 or leave it how it is. to raw it i would need a wealth of sanding and nitromors, plus it will show up the little dent it has. to bead blast i will need to pay someone to do it. to paint i will need to rough up the surface, remove a few blemishes and then spray it. to leave it as it is will cost me neither time nor money, but i'm not sure i like it lol

dann2707
I paid £5 to leave my frame in an acid bath at a powder coaters and I haven't touched the frame since. It also hides all the scratches and dents as its all silver. Its when its painted and it chips is when it looks shit imo.

Blake
buy paint from poundland, probably need like 3 or 4 cans which will cost you a grand total of...£4 Yeah cause yours has lasted ages Make sure you prep the frame well so it sticks as well as it can. marshole82
yeah ive done a frame (and a car believe it or not) with cans and both have stuck well. the only downside is that as they dont get baked like in a proper booth the paint remaisn a bit soft and scratches really easy, regardless of prep.
