benv
Just changed brakes to a new set of zee's. Think rims are a bit narrow so looking for pimps or stiffys. Not sure yet about colours...
HippY
personally I would go for Stiffys, as I nearly bought them :$ Nice bike you have there:)
benv
Thanks, I'll like it even more when I've decided which way to go with rims or just tyres
HippY
honestly I would have not change a thing if its good. I mean, if it rides well, works well, and can serve you properly (= parts can withstand the usage that you put on them) then why modify it? I learned it on a computer course but it is totally right "If its ain`t broken, then you ain`t fix it" It says, yes, you can relace the wheels, add new tyres, but it adds some slight chance that a new fault come out
benv
It's more the tyre rims are very weak so mixed with the thin rims. So I'm thinking better tyres and then the rims may be fine.Tyre walls that meant. Tioga powerblocks
Martin Direske
Is there a reason why you put the hose for the rear brake on the outer side of the stay? The danger of hitting the hose when failing a whip or something is much higher than when you just move it onto the other side of the stay (pointing to the tire) Edited February 19, 2014 by Martin Direske
