SamKidney
50:50 water/antifreeze bleed. Last one on my 24" worked spot on for over a year on a number of different bikes.
dann2707
Wouldn't put water in this time of year without mixing it with a non freezing additive.
Dan-Walker
I agree with water being better, I also use a little bit of anti freeze, 2 years+ with same brake and no problems I started this poll because I believe the majority use water, a friend of mine doesn't think so.. so I started this poll.. dann2707
Yarp loads of people use water. It's a bit hit and miss though whether it swells up your piston or not though. One magura I had had endless problems with it. But the one I have now seems fine and it looks like it's been ran with water for ages. briggsey2014
I have used water and can say it works well . but i would only do this if you dont have a bleed kit .water will shorten the life of your maggies also water will seep past the seals quicker than oil. U can use washing up liquid in a powersteering unit on a car. but this does not mean its a good idea, they use oil for a reason i would not buy a maggie that has been used with water would u
