ogre
Maybe it's me being a snob and spending to much time in forsale threads/groups but i've got sick of anyone declaring their bike 'custom' (wrongly imo) anyone else get annoyed by people declaring their bike custom, even though it's often a factory complete with a few aftermarket parts, and no unique modifications. or non standard components...
Martin Reynolds
No, i fully agree. To me, 'custom' is when you get the hacksaw/file/drill/mig out
onzatpro09
"Full custom build for sale: One of a kind bike. An onza rip with super-duper upgraded grips and all custom spray painted 2 shades of blue because the first can ran out." It is so funny when an ad like that pops up on ebay, asking £350. Blake
custom bike and customised bike are different things.
Jake.
custom bike and customised bike are different things. Agreed. "Custom spec" to me is changing the original spec (considering the bike could be bought off the shelf). But customising parts is like spraying, cutting disc mounts off, drilling holes, water bleed etc.
