HippY
the cable is coming from the lever, and it is coming to one of the brake arms, why crossing the other. At the very end of the brake arm, there is a bolt, that holds the cable down undo a bolt just a littlebit, grab a pair of plies and pull that cable a little bit, then while you pulling the end of the cable, screw the bolt back in
wez k
But won't that make my pads closer to the rim?
*gentlydoesit
^Or take up slack in the cable. Any damage to the outer casing of the cable, stretched? Using a booster?
HippY
But won't that make my pads closer to the rim? yes and that is the point. you need the pads to connect with the rim as quick as you can, so you will have a solid lever to apply the force to braking, and not use the most of the levers to make the pads connecting the rim ^Or take up slack in the cable. Any damage to the outer casing of the cable, stretched? Using a booster? I used cable brakes so long ago, that I forgot about these issues
