psiron
good answer, i've got one it doesn't fit.
bing
Trialtech Not necessarily. If it's got truvativ cranks, it's probably a howitzer xr bb. They are a specific type, different splines to Isis. If its got any other Isis cranks, then a trialtech bb will do
psiron
It doesn't fit because the axle is too short and the cranks hit the frame.
bing
Put a picture of your cranks up, then we can find the right bb for you. Chances are it's this one Edited January 28, 2014 by bing
psiron
That's the same as the one i took out. What i find a bit strange is, 1 tarty bikes don't offer the above as a direct replacement, 2 the only one i could find with any reference to a fourplay was in reply to a question posted on the Trialtech sport light description, guess which one i ordered. daniel_070499
Not sure on what length but my mate has a fourplay and uses the Shimano bb off tarty bikes for £11 and fits perfect! So if you go on there and see what lengthy that one is you will know the correct size. Hope that helped
James281098
Yeah as dan has said i use a Shimano bb off tarty bikes and fits perfectly
psiron
The shimano won't fit my cranks.
bing
You need 2 spacers on the drive side, one on the none drive side. I don't understand why it won't work, as that's the bb designed to go with those cranks. Have you got the axle in the right way?
psiron
The axle on the trialtech measures 128mm and the howitzer 150mm
err
From what Dan (bing) is saying the holzfellers use a unique spline size so won't be compatible with the trialtech bb (which uses isis splines)
bing
Only the howitzer bb will work with those cranks, and give the correct offset/clearance
AdamR28
The Trialtech BB does fit the Fourplay frame, however the cranks you have aren't compatible with the BB. It is ISIS and the cranks use their own spline. The reason we don't stock the BBs separately is two fold - they never break, and other places listed them at silly prices cos they can get OE stock. psiron
if i was to upgrade my cranks to fit the trialtech bb, which cranks would be best.
bing
Trialtech cranks. Best there is
