RyanR
Hi, Thinking of buying an onza pro from a friend he said it needs a back brake, however I have no clue as to what adaptor I would need to mount a brake. I have a set of Hayes 9 knocking around so I will be putting them on if possible. Please could someone let me know what adaptor I would need. Cheers. Here is a pic Thanks
bing
By Hayes 9 I take it you mean a Hayes brake with the 203 rotor? For that rotor you have there you need a rear 160 IS to post mount adaptor. 203 will be way too big for the rear. One of these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/clarks-alu-anodised-mount-adaptor-rear-is/rp-prod69496 Edited December 26, 2013 by bing
RyanR
Cheers for that mate, what sort of screws would I need to fix the adaptor to the frame? Cheers.
bing
M6x20mm I would have thought, or maybe 25mm if you have a thick mount on the frame
