Jake.
With an angle grinder, take tyre and inner tube off, go along the inside bit where rim tape would go.

Blake
Don't bother. Its effort and saves naff all weight he may prefer the look of rim tape sitting closer to the holes?
isitafox
Don't bother. Its effort and saves naff all weight This is not true, I had a Trialtech Sport Circle rear rim, took the inner wall out and it finished quite a bit lighter than the SL! Mark W
Yeah, depends on the rim quite a lot too. Getting the extra volume for your tube too, bit of extra bounce and all that jazz. I was glad I did it to the Try-All Reinforced rim on my old Sky.
