ben_travis
Thats good he liked it. always a worry it might have had the opposite effect. His optimism / outlook on the situation is nothing short of amazing.
Ross McArthur
I bet its spurred him on to dig out his old photos too. I see from his Instagram that he's been "clearing" out the loft.

JD™
It’s not so long when your chips only work in time since the Unix epoch. Edited October 31, 2018 by JD™ For pedants

Weighing duration since respective "dawn of time" against the expanded potential thought processes per second multiplied over that period, I'd put a computational perspective as significantly "longer" than a human's.
isitafox
Huge thread bump but I couldn't think of a better place to post. Went to a Speakers From The Edge talk tonight in Buxton to hear about Martyn's career and life after his accident. Was a lot I never knew about him but what an absolute legend, even met him afterwards and had a quick chat. He remembered the book we sent and said he keeps it on a shelf in his living room. One hero I'm quite happy to have met! 7

One hero I'm quite happy to have met! That’s cool he still has it, it’s got a place and how thankful he was for it. Now that’s a hero
