Skorp
Hi!I have two Inspireds, one Hex and one Fourplay..I wonder hos many types of geometry these bikes have had over the years?Cheers,
Mark W
Think the Fourplay's had 3, and the Hex 2. The Fourplay went from a +35mm BB with 385mm stays to +20mm with 380mm, then +25mm with 375mm stays. Think the reach got made a little longer too for that model (compared to the previous generation). The Hex stayed the same in terms of CS length and BB height, but got a slightly extended reach for the latest model.

Hex that is. Edited December 10, 2013 by Dazza1414
LEON
Looks like on the same fork the latest Hex will have 10mm more wheelbase over the original, all in the top tube. Both bikes have 5mm wb difference but the newer forks are 5mm straighter.
Skorp
Thanks for the info.. I guess i have the first of both, but is there any way to recognize the different frames? Cs might be the easiest to measure.. BB height is always different unless you have the correct fork.
Ross McArthur
Most noticeable differences will be the head tubes and the dropouts. Edited December 11, 2013 by Ross McArthur
Mark W
They only changed from the '09 to the 2011 Fourplay though so it won't help too much for working out the specific one he's got. For the Fourplay, CS length is the way to go. For the Hex it'd be measuring the reach and comparing that to what's on the TartyBikes product page.
