trialsquirt
hi, could anyoneone tell me which pad is the better choice? cheers.
trialsalot
Lgm pads a savage in my opinion. I used them on a mod though on natural so it would be nice to see how they match up......FIGHT!
trialsiain
I never had luck with my lgms but everyone else seems to like them
TriаlsRider
Just one funny fact: good polyurethane much better than most of the brand pads.
tom@eastcoasttrials
give French cousts a try mate
trialsquirt
i think ill go with some lgms
harmertrials
I wouldn't. They're good but don't seem to be consistent. I have always sworn by cousts if you're running a grind, but i'm currently running adms on the rear and they're absolutely amazing.
trialsquirt
cousts or adms?
harmertrials
Can't really go wrong with either. Iain rennie manages to though
trialsiain
Le from tnn told me lgms are harder to maintain athan adms
SamKidney
ADM's are probably my favourite pads. They just worked properly good all the time. Prefer the more solid feel through the lever with them as against the plastic backed cousts I had.
trialsquirt
ill just get some adms then cheers
FamilyBiker
give French cousts a try mate this, but the refills, not the glued-on ones in plastic backings. pretty good pads Edited December 2, 2013 by FamilyBiker
bing
I'm trying adms next when my cousts are knackered
ogre
my ADMs were pretty savage. so were the lgms though. koxx bloxx browns are the king of pads though.
trialsalot
My Coust sinks were crazy loud and had good bite but the hold was unpredictable. I tried koxx browns a while back but wasn't impressed. All the pads run on mainly natural in all weathers so I've always gave them a good kicking. I'm sure you'd adapt to any pad though, people ride differently )
AkuskaUK
I run LGM's and they have been brilliant with a grind and a tiny bit of tar. SUCH a good noise too
trialsquirt
Are heat sink coust 7.5s good?
Filo
Adm's are what you want. They continue to work amazing on a very dull grind. Lg ms work amazing, however you need to keep grinding to keep there tip top performance.since I've been running my blacks I've ground the rim twice in a year. They just keep working
Azarathal
Could never get lgms to work properly whereas my adms just worked regardless of grind / piss poor set up
Maxx
Never tried LGM, but you can't go wrong with ADM. They still work when grind is dead.
tryallmaster
LGM
AdamR28
Nah you don't want the LGMs, they have a stupid name :wink2: Seriously though - Echo what others have said. LGMs seem to have the edge, slightly, but you need to have a good setup and fresh / sharp grind. ADMs have a bit more of a 'tacky' feel and because of this will still work when the grind is dead and if your setup isn't as perfect.
FamilyBiker
what does adm even mean? can imagine lgm to be "light grind, magura" or something
Martin Reynolds
I always thought it was Andrew Dickey as they were developed for him?
