Trials-Mikey
so after receiving my jaf i have had tonnes of chain tension problems due to the frame being splayed. so i was having a think for a solution and i thought the heatsink tensioner might work. i had a look on tarty hoping to see how i should set it up, anyone had any experience with them and how well they work and a picture of it set up. Do they work on mods ? thanks

Jake.
In short, yes it will work. You just slide it onto the axle bolt, push the tensioner down until you get the chain tension you want, then tighten axle bolt. That's how I do it anyway, so easy. Trials-Mikey
Thanks so will I have to use washers on my axle to space out where the snail cams used to be ?
FamilyBiker
i could be wrong, but shouldnt you keep the cams and just clamp the tensioner plate between them and the frame?
Trials-Mikey
Also how well do they work with freewheels Edited November 29, 2013 by Trials-Mikey

Jake.
You're overthinking this man, it's a lot easier than you're making it out to be. It should fit between your snail cams unless you have a real tight fit to put the wheel in. Unless you're forcing the frame apart to put the wheel in you'll be fine. "How well do they work with freeweels?" They're designed to work with freewheels.
err
I run a 74 kingz (pretty much identical to heatsink) upside down on my mod in conjunction with the chaintugs, it works alright
