BradJohnson
Hi! He's probably best starting out with a 20" bike, i'd highly recommended anything from the Onza bikes range which can be found here: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?submit_toolbar_search=GO&keywords=onza+20%22+bikes The best bet is the Onza comp, it's great value for the money! needy
Thanks brad.... I did do a bit of reading into it and that's what I thought a 20" onza, only think I need answering on the tarty bikes site its got 2 different lists of 20" bikes , one class saying kids trials bikes and one class saying 20" trials bikes..... whats the difference ? Kevinfor
Thanks brad.... I did do a bit of reading into it and that's what I thought a 20" onza, only think I need answering on the tarty bikes site its got 2 different lists of 20" bikes , one class saying kids trials bikes and one class saying 20" trials bikes..... whats the difference ? Kid's bikes are shorter and smaller and might have smaller wheels, but since your son is 11 I think you would be better off with a "real" 20" bike as it will have more room for him when he gets taller. And as Brad said, any of the 20" onza bikes will be good to start off with. If you think your son is actully going to commit to trials, get him one of the more expensive onzas as they will last longer as he gets better, but if you think he just wants to try it out i would say go for a cheaper one, as trials bikes usually have a pretty low second hand value. needy
Hi Again Just found this one for sale on local website ..... can you tell me if its any good and what its worth please... its a Onza T-Pro HS33 front and rear with trials pads Echo HS33 caliper mounts Onza Hog wheels, ground rims Maxxis Creapy Crawler tyres Onza stem & bars Tensile cranks Acs Claw Freewheel (crank mount) Onza Carbon brake booster Try-all BB (splined) Would it make a good starter bike and whats it worth please Thanks
dezmtber
Seems a good spec to start out on if its really cheap. those freewheels are likely to fail once he starts riding on the backwheel. its only £50+ to get a better new one. Jake.
Brad linking to tarty?! Genuinely in shock. Oh and that t pro is probably worth £80 tops. Edited November 26, 2013 by JMCD

needy
The bike is a army green and was bough new in 2004... What's it worth? Is it any good ?
Blake
Grab a second hand one off Here. If you shell out 600 for an onza (not worth it imo) and he decides he doesn't like it you'll be lucky to get half of the price you paid
