bikeperson45
I’m a wee bit bored and started thinking of little things I love doing and now kind of curious what other peoples are. Here’s some of mine Opening a new container of butter (margarine or whatever) and getting to take the foil off. Opening yoghurts and trying to get the yoghurt on the lid to stay there. Cutting finger and toe nails, I wait for them to get a bit longer because there’s more satisfaction that way. Peeling post it notes off. Matching my steps to random people in front of me. Cleaning the dust tray thing in dryers. Taking out little bits of egg shell debris with other egg shells. If you got any might as well share…
dann2707
Resetting my trip computer on my car and trying to beat my personal record of miles to £10 of fuel. Got loads of these but my mind is blank!

Matthew62
flicking light switches like these light.jpg I thought I did, but I have these in my lounge and I put them on this morning (usually don't use ceiling based lighting) and my initial thought was how horrible they felt to switch on and off. However, the noise they make...that's good.

King C
Putting anything in my ears, cotton buds, fingers, ear plugs. The deeper the better. I think it is slightly sexual - eargasm. Flicking a good switch and/or balancing a switch so it is stationary between either pole.

Jolfa
Fresh butter and peeling the film off plastic/metal/screens as above. Socks and pants that have been on the radiator. Running a hot bath, I find it 100x more soothing than actually bathing in it once it's ready

Greetings
Like above, looking at things I've built from various angles. Standing in places of the house where I never stood before (corners, tight places). Curling up in bed under lots of blankets in a cold room. Jolfa
I find it incredibly relaxing watching people/animals do mundane tasks, such as people having a normal quiet conversation/studying a map/writing that kind of thing, or in particular cats grooming themselves. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_sensory_meridian_response may be of interest to some in this thread
Pashley26
I love using a shoe horn. Putting cuff links in. Wearing a tie clip. Pressing the chronograph on my watch. dann2707
I love like guessing something. I do this thing where if I guess something correctly my mind doesn't actually realise it's happening and I get in this weird tranquil state. Like, I can't even give an example like. Maybe I can I dunno, if I guess the time is 12.40 and it is then I don't realise what I actually wanted in the first place and I just day dream about something else anyone else get the same thing? It has to be something special not like, oh I guess it's raining and it's raining, it has to be like something f**king specific. Feels good but I can't explain it for shit
bikeperson45
Feels good but I can't explain it for shit After reading that four times and still not getting it I'm going to agree with that And after Jolfa's link, I do love getting my hair cut, that's really relaxing.
