dngr2self
If you discussed anything with Mark in real life, I expect you'd get your ass handed to you at least as thoroughly as you do on here. It seems more like a conversation than a competition to me. Why would someone get their arse handed to them in a conversation?

Mark W
i assumed it to be a norm-test,that means by industrial standards. Despite all the evidence to the contrary? Despite the way they described their method and how they got the results? I'm aware different brake pads have different effects on performance because that's fairly obvious, much the same way that it's fairly obvious how they conducted that test and therefore how you should read the results rather than taking it out of context and coming up with spurious 'ideas' about it (e.g. "I think they used 160mm rotors/organic pads/22" wheels"). That's even less helpful than just taking the results at face value... EDIT: Oh, and I don't like beer/lager and don't care about baseball bats
FamilyBiker
i said that because in a standardized din test those values in the diagram would speak for my assumption of 22"/160 etc, which just shows how far off their test results are compared to a din test, which(maybe it just feels like that for me)is kind of backing my point up. din en does bedding in like they did,but the rest of the test is completely different in braking/cooling intervals and even lever forces change during a din test, giving a diagram that shows multiple ratios of speed/handforce/temperature/deceleration. you could middle out the perfect braking behaviour from a din diagram if you´d want to exaggerate it to the max sorry for the beer thing, its awesome stuff Edited November 25, 2013 by FamilyBiker
