How did you guys find the post box to rail line? I mean, I know where it is but it’s not exactly on the way to/back from a big spot or anything. I know you guys had been looking on Google maps etc. did you find it that way?

Also, the high rail line Ali falls off of, I don’t think Ive been there.

Masha'allah! That was just amazing Ali! Mate, never mind taking my hat off.. i've thrown it away and bought a 'piss' pot! What a joy to see this riding; I dont think i've ever seen any trials rider look so comfortable with the geometry of a bike than this. Not once do i see a sturggle to shift the wheel under your feet or any slight misjudgment of foot position on landing gaps/ 3's or anything! This is dialled. Your riding really exemplifies the evolution of our sport and is in my opinion one of the finest expressions to date of what the whole sport has been working towards. Alhamdulillah! Keep it up and all the best on your journey.

I'm assuming you had a lot to do with the development of this frame! The bike looks great and it's good to see a (proper) steel 24 in production. 3Piece only aswell! Because it's the right thing to do :)

Well done man.

Peace and good grease..

(edit: And compliments to the editor of the video. Great composition, seemless and capturing. A truly great achievement in all respects (Y) )

Quite a few spots from this were found from just going out exploring. I think Danny and Ali were out riding and found that postbox setup, then we went back to film. I think that was the way the rail line you mentioned got found too.

Maybe, we'll see! I took out some lines Ali said he wanted in this video so they'll probably have to see the light of day at some point. Still sitting on a load of footage from April-ish time too... I should probably do something with that :P

doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo it

Videos don't tend to go viral because of their technicality though - to grab peoples attention you need to be doing fairly massive shit which Danny did in the April '09 video (as well as doing some f**king tech stuff too, e.g. wallride to wheelswap - still f**king ridiculous). Some of the lines Ali did in this were pretty big, but they're not quite on the same 'bigness' scale as Danny's video.

To give another example, Ben mentioned earlier on his favourite line was the stoppie to backwheel tap on that rail to stoppie back along and off the curb. Most riders are going to be aware of how really f**king hard that is, but to someone who doesn't ride it's just not going to catch their attention as much as someone backflipping off a tree.

Technically the best video I've ever seen, I agree with the comments above though, only people who understand just what goes into those lines will fully appreciate it! In saying that I've shown this vid to a few people who don't ride at all, but have seen the Danny Mac vids and they were just as blown away.

have to agree with Ben on the g turn to rail to nose manual line being my favorite! if there's ever been a video that could make you want to get out on a bike more I've never seen it!
