so im looking at new tyres, been using tryall stiky light which has been good but wearing a bit low now (6 months old). should i get another one of those or try a der kaiser ? ive heard that the der kasier is really bouncy ? Also, what are the rubber queen 2.4s like compared to derkaiser/ tryall.

Thanks

Try all is a great tyre in terms of weight and puncture resistance, as well as still offering great grip and looking smart. Wears really quick though.

Kaiser is a relatively heavy tyre when new, amazing grip and great bounce, especially with side nobbles removed. Not a bad wear rate either.

Rubber queen was too bouncy for my liking, felt really unstable, still has great grip and is an impressive weight.

Maxxis minions are good.. lighter than a standard try all tyre while being gripper and lighter than the conti's.. cheaper than a der kaiser.. good wear rate and the nobbles are massive so it really wraps to stuff! I cut every other side nobble off mine which looks good to. Highly recommend

I found my old rubber queens sidewalls a bit too thin, they didn't last too long after failed sidehops before the thread started showing through.

A part from the one rubber queen I've always used maxxis tyres, never had any complaints over weight, bounce or grip levels.

Been looking at the kenda nevegal 2.5 stickE, might try one I think carthy used to use them

I ran one for ages, only good if you run very high pressures due to it being the thinnest tyre ever with awful puncture resistance, mine ripped after a while too, wouldn't recommend one

Kaiser
