juantime Posted November 14, 2013 Report Share Posted November 14, 2013 maybe work on rear wheel balance. like after you gap, staying on your rear wheel instead of dropping the front. it'll come in handy if you want to do something and there's nowhere to drop your front to. juantime Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 I've found that balancing on your rear wheel is just something you get down with practice, like just try on flat ground to stay on your rear whilst moving backwards and forwards as little as possible. you'll get good at that pretty quick. wide tires and a fairly low pressure also make it easier to maintain your balance. get good at that and keeping your front up after gapping will be a lot easier.
