isitafox
Gonna order myself a new rotor for the front of my Marino but I'm not sure which rotor pattern will work best (if there'll be any noticeable difference at all that is). I'm choosing out of the following three, what would people recommend?http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=577http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=202http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=
FamilyBiker
no idea about the helix ones, but the flame ones tend to warp during to front moves,so i´d go for the vibe.(had a windcutter, one ride, wrecked) seems pretty standard,i know, but i think its the best, mainly because the outer ring is even, hence touching the full pad surface all the time when braking. i dont see a point in cooling properties needing to be good in trials Edited November 6, 2013 by FamilyBiker
err
I'm running the 1st ones you posted in 180mm on my mod and I've had no issues with them so far, they bedded in super quickly too
BradJohnson
More holes = More bite. Less holes = More hold.
isitafox
Think I'm gonna go with the Helix, the flame ones just look too flimsy and the others too solid.

dk2
Does anybody have problems Wrapping the front rotor, due to gap to front etc.. ? currently in running avid clean sweep but those saint look sweet..
ben_travis
I'll be honest here...im not a smooth rider. I crash alot, and even managed to land a sidehop onto one of these rotors and it held true. good rotors and seem strong enough. i'd imagine the MT2's will be fine on these rotors so long as you have decent pads
onzatpro09
While we're talking about disks, has anybody tried a shimano deore 203mm? How are they?
BradJohnson
While we're talking about disks, has anybody tried a shimano deore 203mm? How are they? You'll snap a deore calliper on a 203mm. Mine snapped on a 180mm rotor.
