problem with racing lever

The piston has a clearance of .15mm so not need to rub it down.

Where ever you bleed it with has made the o rings swell up.

Try taking the piston out and cleaning. Then using some grease on the piston and o rings. You need to use rubber grease for this it's read in colour. Any another will damage the rubber and cause to Sewell up more.

Bleed it with water. And some anti freeze or summer coolant

Well considering you could equate a shirt sleeve to be minimum of 3" diameter, that would make dave's willy 2.9940944881" wide - not really to be sniffed at I guess!

I had the same problem with my '14 magura lever, initially bled it with machine coolant (water soluble synthetic oil) which has served me very well for almost half a decade. Tried bleeding it through several times in case it was a trapped bubble of air somehow retarding the piston return. Eventually I bled it through with plain tap water and it worked perfectly; re-tried with the coolant and the piston stuck in again. Running plain water now and it's fine :)
