Petras
I'am thinking to buy new street frame and I want to ask which of them is better? OMEN - http://www.omenbikes.com/products/4-frame-omen-twentyfour-white Inspired - http://www.inspiredbicycles.com/inspired_fourplay_frame_p39.php Maybe you know other brand frames which are very strong. FamilyBiker
i´ve seen only one cracked inspired frame since theyre out,was an element at the brake mounts.so they seem to be pretty bombproof. no idea about omen, but i know for sure that marinos are strong.
pjl1984
The fourplay seems a very strong frame but im pretty new to street trials
isitafox
Off the top of my head I only know of 2 riders that have ridden the Omen, one was a complete f**kwit and the other (Luke Cockshott) is a bit of a beast of a rider but I've only seen one short clip of him on it. Goes pretty damn big though so if they're gonna break then he's the man to find out!
Petras
Do you think that OMEN tensioner is good? And your opinion, what's the best tensioner on fourplay frame?
FamilyBiker
i think rohloff rules, unless you go for a diy approach
isitafox
I'm not a fan of horizontal dropouts on a street frame as your chainstay length is determined by the gear ratio you run. When I had my old fourplay (2011) I ran it without a tensioner as the chainstay length was perfect for the ratio I use (22-15)

However they're excellent with their customer service and won't ignore you if it's cracked.
Petras
Yap Inspired is much bigger company than OMEN and inspired as you sad have good customer service. But I like omen frame because you don't have to buy tensioner. I was riding with horizontal dropouts for 3 years and it was ok. Also omen seems like a copy of inspired, they just changed dropouts. Jake.
Get a heatsink one, or make a spoke tensioner I've used a 74kingz which is the original version of the heatsink tensioner, hit it a fair few times with sidehops and is fine. The bike is getting some stick I have just been injured (Darn ladders) I do have some media to come out fairly soon onto the Phoenix page I wouldn't worry about the frame quality of either company as both are high! also both have + point's, Omen has Integrated drop out's like you guy's have said already quite a cool disc tab design which works and the drop outs and disc tab's are all pretty beefed up. How has Euan broke his frames? He couldn't break a piece of dairylea! Edited November 3, 2013 by Seabasss
