bing
Just seen this on jo prattleys Facebook I think the rear dropout design looks a bit suspect, like it could crack the frame tube at the weld quite easily. But I've been wrong before. Thoughts boys and girls?
FamilyBiker
seems like its not a labelled frame frome another brand, seeing the gt logo stamp at the yoke. would be cool to see gt making one!
craigjames
I like i I Jo riding the proto for GT then? Be awesome to see a big bike manufacturer producing a trials frame. The drop out area does look a little suspect, does anyone know if Kenny has killed one yet? Intrigued to find out a few more details about it geo, weight, material etc.

isitafox
Interesting with the biggest trials compay going down and then a major brand like GT stepping back into trials. Look forward to seeing a full build that hasn't got suspension forks on!

Lewis Gething
Those are some very light coloured tyres! Looks awesome though.
isitafox
No I meant a proper retail spec bike, more to see what kind/brand of parts they would use for a build assuming they go for that option
bing
No I meant a proper retail spec bike, more to see what kind/brand of parts they would use for a build assuming they go for that option Good shout that Dave, be interesting to see specs and prices etc. A big company like GT getting involved can only be a good thing, plus I think it would get trials noticed a lot more, as most mtbers have heard of GT, and a lot started out on one. I had an old school zaskar back in the day
isitafox
With Koxx's bankruptcy being blamed on expensive prototype research it'll be good to see if GT can bring anything new to the board being a much larger outfit.
FamilyBiker
the triple triangle is there again too, just in a slightly different approach since gt was bought by the dorel group they suffered on a bit of mainstream fever imo, would be really a good thing for trials, and they´d be more like a "rider aimed" brand again,as that image was lost over the last years. looking forward to get some geo info
J.KYDD
Has Jack announced his 2014 sponsor yet? Considering he's also still riding for Kenny via Enterbike could we also be seeing him aboard one of these?
harmertrials
Jack's gone to rockman

Mark W
With Koxx's bankruptcy being blamed on expensive prototype research it'll be good to see if GT can bring anything new to the board being a much larger outfit. Prototyping stuff is expensive, but them blaming going into liquidation on it is pretty laughable. Anyways, when I saw photos of Kenny's bike it didn't look particularly nice, but in person it's not so bad. Those drop chainstays make chain clearance suuuuper tight though. Ross McArthur
That bashguard isnt going to do much bashing. Not that Kenny bashes. Not so keen on those tyres. Why would they be made like that?
Mark W
They're non-marking. They were for some show/demo thing he was doing.
N.Wood
Sneak peak 2014 prototype ride. The rider chose a remote cornish location for the first test, this pic has just been leaked.

J.KYDD
a remote cornish location On a side note, do you ride Lamorna often in the summer?
N.Wood
Now and again, think we went down twice last summer? Try and work it into a trip to Falmouth or somewhere. Hard to guarantee the weather / tides to make the trip worthwhile, but try to as much as possible
isitafox
That looks just like a yellow Echo Pure
J.KYDD
Would like to head down again sometime next summer. Be good to ride there one day and maybe Rinsay/Rinsey (sp?) another.
Brian Bleech
Must admit that yellow frame looks gash, just like any other generic trials frame I agree about the yellow one, but it pretty decent in chrome with those stickers. Very 'classic' GT.
HippY
I agree about the yellow one, but it pretty decent in chrome with those stickers. Very 'classic' GT. they seem to be 2 different frames for me, yellow has a "seatpost" the other one has fancy double triangle.. maybe geo is the same?
